First Blog!

I joined Blogger today after having visited several others' blogger sites over the past few months - wondering what makes this better than all of the other pages out there? I gotta try it out to see for myself!

So here I am, putting out my first entry and trying to say something intelligent --- hmm, now what's next??

The title - I named this blog of mine "Because He First Loved Me" for a reason. I can name this Esther's Journal or Esther's Thought of the Day or something really creative...but when I look at myself, all I can say is that I'm a result of God's blessing on me. It's because He first loved me, that's why I'm blessed. It's because He first loved me that I can experience true joy, possess a peace that surpasses all understanding, and learn to love others the way He's loved me.

I hope that I can pass on a little bit of hope, a little bit of faith, and a little bit of love in this blog to those who read it.
